Event Description:
October is Careers in Construction Month, and 10/30/22 is Build Across America Day! Please join WBSBA in an outreach event for the community as we host our first ever Trunk or Treat!
This month is all about celebrating and introducing the construction trades to younger students. Trunk or treats have gained popularity in recent years, and usually have great community attendance and participation.
To participate, each company must decorate their vehicle trunk or truck bed (could even be a work vehicle) in the theme of their specific field (landscaping, excavating, plumbing, etc). Bonus points if you dress up! You'll pass out candy to the children that attend, and WBSBA will have fun contests for the kids as well as promotional information for families to take endorsing the construction trades. We will choose winners of the contests that will win a book about the trades as well as a building/construction themed prize.
